She has assisted numerous diverse and complex organizations in
fulfilling their on-going obligations under the Accessibility for
Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). She has worked with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario and
human rights lawyers to develop and deliver training and compliance based strategies and resources. She
as developed various training resources including e-learning modules, train-the-trainer materials, manuals,
booklets, tip sheets, and she has also provided in-person training to approximately 2,000 participants.
Jennifer specializes in developing highly customized materials and practical accommodation and
implementation strategies that address the needs of large complex organizations as well as small
businesses. Her extensive experience includes work in the educational, municipal, health care and
non-profit sectors as well as numerous private sector organizations.
Further experience includes preparing gap and needs assessments and community report cards on issues
affecting persons with disabilities and older adults. Jennifer has been working and studying in the
accessibility and age-in-place field for thirty years.
